If you didn't know im originally from Flatbush, Brooklyn so i decided to take a vacation from work and chill for a bit.. Here are some photos i took while i was in NY for a few days earlier this month.. Photos are in no specific order, ENJOY.. comments appreciated..

loving the pix, we go to NYC just about every year for the 4th of July fireworks show, usually stay at the westin thats right across from the wax museum

integraboi88 - the trains seem that empty because most of the time when i was heading back to Brooklyn it was 2 or 3 a.m.

JITB - LOL grimmy, man you just scary.. aint shit going down in NY really.. NYPD got the shit on lock, there are cops everywhere..

jadakid88 - i was up there the second week this month for 9 days.. non of those photos was taken in Vanderveer or Junction.. The police command bus shot was taken down Sheepshead Bay and the McDonalds shot is at the corner of Nostrand Ave and Church Ave.. few blocks away from Erasmus High School aka E-Hall (that school is grimmy)..

Just in case that is sarcasm, I wasn't trying to diss the shots at all. They are awesome pictures. I just don't see the "art" or the purpose of "one leg shorter than the other" shots. Later, QD.

thanks man.. the weather wasnt bad actually.. lowest it got was 24.. im used to the cold so i was straight.. rained one day bit it was straight..

Thanks, I just have a Nikon D40 (that i want to upgrade from) and i was running my Nikkor 24-120mm VR lens most of the time.. The last few shots taken in the city were with my Nikkor 18-55mm Kit lens though..

I just bought a D80 and I'm having a blast with it. They are a steal right now. Look into them or into D90 if your budget allows it.

Yea i know.. Im looking at either the D90 or D200.. because Ive outgrown my D40 bigtime..

From what ive heard the D200 is quite noisy, however you can get em BNIB for 600 at bestbuy.com. I dunno. Im personally saving my pennies for a D300. But if the choice is those two, id go with the D90
